The Legacy Behind Our Name
Amee’s Legacy Elevated Care was inspired by a woman whose life was centered around caring for others.
Amee was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and dedicated 31 years of her career to United Airlines, serving in many different departments throughout her tenure. Her journey eventually took her to Houston, Texas, before she relocated to Alabama during the pandemic to be closer to her daughter and grandchild.
But Amee’s greatest legacy wasn’t where she lived or where she worked, it was how she loved and cared for people.
Amee never met a stranger. Friends, neighbors, coworkers, and even people she had just met quickly became family. She was incredibly giving and would quite literally give someone the clothes off her back if they needed them.
She was the person who checked in.
She called family members, friends, and neighbors simply to make sure they were okay. She remembered people. She brought people together. Whether she was planning a surprise, organizing a family gathering, or showing up when someone needed support, caring for others came naturally to her.
That spirit is the heart of Amee’s Legacy Elevated Care.
We believe care should feel personal. The people we serve aren’t simply clients, they are individuals with stories, families, routines, and lives that deserve to be honored. Our goal is to provide the same compassion, attentiveness, and genuine human connection that Amee gave so freely throughout her life.
Her legacy was caring for people. Our mission is to carry it forward, one family at a time.
